George Tindale Memorial Gardens

George Tindale Memorial Gardens Sign

The George Tindale Memorial Gardens are located on Mount Dandenong in Victoria, Australia. It is open all year round and is free to enter. It has a variety of plants, trees and flowers and differing displays depending on the season. My visit was in late March.

My aim was to do some Macro Photography of any flowers or plants of interest and there were some beautiful examples of Hydrangeas, Japanese Anemones and Fuchsias. There were not too many Autumn colors in the garden at this time of the year but there were definately signs that those would appear soon. I was encouraged that return visits would result in a better variety to photograph.

There is a serene and idyllic atmosphere to these gardens. I saw a number of people just sitting on the many park benches available just sitting down and taking it all in. It is a bonus that entry is free. It is definately worth visiting.
